I've used the Stealths before in a canopy. They are extremely quiet, but they are expensive for what they are. If your looking for cheap but relatively quiet ones, get some CoolerMasters.

You need a feed pump that pumps 1 to 1.5 times tank volume...so approx 75 to 115 gph for it to be efficient. A 600-900gph is way too powerful for use as a feed pump.

I think that you could use weld on 16 for pvc-acrylic bonds. Its kind of a viscous cement, not water-thin like weld on 3 and 4.
