I'll see how it's labelled when it comes. I'm not sure, but I think "food grade" has to have a certificate of analysis. I didn't think to ask for aquarium grade- if it exists.

I would mix it 5 gal at a time, but transfer it to a 1 gal jug to hook up to your doser. A malfunction of you doser or timer could dump all 5 gals into your tank (been there)

As a stand alone magnesium supplement it is 7 1/4 to 3/4
