No stony growth. This is ~8 months later, still no results. Nothing else has had any major changes. I added a fuge but can't see that as a bad thing, took care of some minor nuisance algae problems....

I have always had excellent sps color and growth in my tank with my DSB using a small skimmer (75 gallon with a prizm, yes a prizm) Ever since upgrading tank and skimmer that has gone in the toilet....

I've had excellent sps grwoth and color from 175w over my 75, supplemented by 2 vho actinic. eihter xm10k or iwasaki 15k. no need for the 400's, plus you would need at least 80 gallons of sump for it...
