Since your planning on an anemone in the tank I'd suggest an anemone shrimp. They're tiny but cool. I have one but no anemone so it lives in one of my xenias.

If you can find it, I'd recomend using a piece of inground pool liner. They're alot thicker and able to stand up to alot more werer and tear than a pond liner. Worth a try, good luck.
