They are indutrial standard encaps that do not go over the end of the tube. They just clip on the end, so they are not exposed to any real heat.

Yes I know, that's why I asked before just going ahead and wiring it up. I need a far more in depth understanding of how electronic ballasts actually work to be able to figure out how to wire this....
