Yeah I have about enough to pack a gallon size ziploc bag if anyone is interested. I also have a big Idaho Grape colony that I need to prune or do something with. Takes up nearly my whole nano haha.

Yeah the color also depends on what part of the world you live in. Go check out the tanks at the Waikiki aquarium in Honolulu during daylight since they run natural light on most of their tanks...

yeah I gave up on the socks for the same reason, you really have to clean them every day to have a beneficial effect. I tend to only run them when I'm doing a "big clean" of the tank with a turkey...

Hmm I turned on the actinics for the first time in over a year and it didn't trip the socket. Looks like one of the bulbs is dead but the other is workin. Guess i'll keep it.
