Its pretty much the coloration. The ones with rare and bright colors are generaly considered the japanese ones. Some of them also need temps and saltanity just a bit lower to do well.

Keeping everthing stable is about all you can do. Watch out for brown jelly on the LPS, and if the leather starts to really melt, take it out before it can spoil the tank.

I have. Fedex decided to keep the first order for a few days extra, but they refunded my order and the second one went good. Though expect some die off in the packs, especialy with the sps.
