The last entry in your listing says crushed coral and rock. Is the rock live rock that is no longer live? If so, how much do you have.

I am not local but will be in Jacksonville later month.

When to add macro

I have plumbed in the Tee and a ball valve and it seems to work fine. If I don't feel it is giving enough overall flow, I will do exactly as Eldredge mentioned, using all of the holes in the overflow...

Great idea! I will plumb that in today, and I will get rid of the HOB, I hated that idea from the start. Had the thing for like 3 years, and this is the first time it has seen water.

What about curing the liverock? Should I just do that seperately with a skimmer, then once cured start the tank? I have a bunch of live rock that has been stored for well over 3 years.

live rock being sold covered in zoos, anyone seen it?

I have seen live rock covered in different colored zoos being sold at a few LFS lately, but they are curing the rock under low light, which pretty much kills the zoos. Has anyone else seen this...
