The only place where it needs support is dead center of the veiwing pane.
The top is the thickest acrylic, the rest is 1/2'
the seams are fine.

A wave box was run on it for two weeks.

Even with the tank half full the lower half bows out still.
The seams are mint and no bad signs...

I am the one doing this set up for her.

I can tell ya the material is thicker on top and bottom( I think 5/8" and the sides...
