is there anything wrong with using industrial metal halides rather thank the ones specifically for aquariums?

the bulbs can be replaced with aquarium bulbs.

Why do people not use these?

you have to be REALLY careful with chocolate...

you have to be REALLY careful with chocolate chips. people have kept them in a reef but they are considered NOT reef safe, they will feed on coral.

I have a green brittle star in my reef. You have to be cautious with them because they can be aggressive though. I got lucky with mine and it has never shown any aggression or ever tried to eat...

I always rinse in vinegar then bleach then rinse in water. Never Had any ill effects from the bleach. I'll post the article that I found it from.

not usually a good idea to cover with glass because you don't get any gas exchage. The glass will also need to be cleaned extremely often.
