I was given free reign to set up and stock bio-cube displays at work, one of each size. They are very nice I must say. I would definalty reccomend them.

They stay very small, probably 2 1/2 inches tops. He may burst out for food like mentioned before, but will spend the majority of his time hanging out in the colony.

If I recall a lecture I was at about a year ago about 35% is ideal. I think it was Anthony Calfo who mentioned it... but of course I can see know reason why bigger isn't better...

They are very nice tanks. Oceanic is currently going through a move due to being bought out by Central Pet... so it's kind of hard to get stuff from them for the moment...

Yes I understand that, but why does that make a skimmer more efficient? Also it appeared to me that you could also use another smaller pump to feed into the skimmer instead of it coming directly...
