Take them out and put them in a bag with some RO water. You know the pH of RO. After 30 min or so if the pH is way up you know you need to cure them more.

Ahhh now i see. I was wrong, you are getting too much air! Try putting a valve on the airlines instead of going to 2 layers. Limit the air into the skimmer or lengthen the neck.

The Seio wavemaker does not turn the pump off, just lowers its RPM.
