I just got mine hooked up. There is no real overflow noise that I can tell, the level in the overflow only drops a bit with each wave.
Took a bit of fine tuning to get past the side to side motion...

This Euroreef model is an in-sump model correct? Is it sitting in the correct amount of water 6-8" ? Is the riser high enough, most models come with two sizes of risers.

You can't just ditch the bioballs if you don't have enough rock. That would be 1 or optimally 2lbs per gallon. If you have that much rock, slowly remove the bioballs when your tank is stable. N
