with that injector design you will find that salt creep gets into the air valve, unscrew it and blow it out ...and i get small snails and other debris in the injector ....FWIW i run a blueline1100,...

cut the sheetrock out of the way...besides even if you went with the 1 1/4 it would probably vibrate against the wall anyway, and you will just be cutting the rock out later...besides a reduction...
