Straight calcium chloride works best if you can get your hands on it. But be careful with the stuff ! Joe's juice has never worked that well for me.

I would remove from the list: blue tang - polluter, and an ick magnet (show the girlfirend a powder blue or brown if she must have a tang) Achilles tang - again a polluter and will not do well (IME)...

A mag 7 is definately not enough flow IMO. Since your budget is small but your sump is descent size for that size tank I would recommend replacing the mag with a rio hyperflow 32 or a quietone 5000...

Different size helps too. I had a flame and a CB in a 75 hex that I put in at the same time, left the light off for a full day and had luck. AS with most fish combinations it is luck of the draw......
