Watts per gallon or depth of tank rule?
Now I know a lot of people still go with WPG when it comes to lighting reef tank but doesn't it really boil bown to how deep the tank is?

Thinking about adding more flow, I already have 2 K4's but need more flow in the middle of the tank. So, should I get another K4 or do the Maxi mod?

Why not make your own by using T5 reflectors and...
Why not make your own by using T5 reflectors and rivet in some PC clips? PC clips are about 1 1/2" W but could be bent into shape.

I've never heard of an SLR for VHO's. Why not get URI bulbs? Most of them have internal reflectors.

The last 4 years I used crushed coral and now on my new tank I switched to sugar sized sand.
My question, how do you vac the sand without sucking it into the vac? Every time that I do a water change...

I have a pretty shallow tank (14.5") and I'm running 6X39w T5 HO's with SLR's. The lights are about 4" off the water line.
I was planning on going softies and some LPS only but I got a good deal...

The remora pro is suposed to skim tanks up to 125g, mine is only a 70g. I know, pretty weird tank size, I know lol.
