regular old carbon will remove it too though purigen and some of the other more expensive products mentioned will probably remove it faster. Either way it will probably take several months to get it...

A lot of houses use copper tubing for plumbing and it doesn't bother us at all, using copper tubing in a reef would be leathal to all your corals and anemones.

Do you have sand in your tank at least 2-3 inches deep? This type of anemone prefers to bury its foot in the sand, It usually will not attach to rocks.
