Thanks. :) In case you're interested, the Anthias are Pseudanthias parvirostris (or Diadem Anthias). I feed them on freeze-dried Cyclop-eeze, which they seem to like.

I suppose even if there were differences they might not be present in the younger fish that tend to come up for sale. As I say, the female is thinner and the male has an ever so slightly fatter head....
