Why change you're flow restrictor when you upgrade you're RO membrane?

I am thinking about upgrading my RO membrane to a 100 GPD from a 35GPD. I do realize my DI will exhaust faster with the 100GPD. But what's the deal with replacing the flow restrictor?

Thanks
