It's an aussie scoly, a great great find. I scored one but unfortunately it got damaged and went downhill quick. Other's that got one out of the same batch are doing well.

For $100 you can get an RO unit and make your own water. You would recoup the costs in less than a year, and you wouldnt have to keep lugging water around...At least outside of the house...

I've done sand fist then water and the opposite. Either way the sand will cloudy up the tank and it will take time to settle. Also no need to rinse sand.

I would mix the salt with the water...

Zoo's and Rics will do fine under the light conditions that you have. If there is stronger light on them, then they color up better. Start with Zoos and mushrooms. They will look great in the tank...
