yea i tried feeding the shrimp and fish on the opposite end of the tank but for some reason the shrimp wont eat or dont want to, they rather steal from the sun lol :mad2:

if u need air to start the overflow, once the power goes out, the air pump will go out as well, therefore the overflow will stop...
