As far as I know we don't use airstones or lines because of harm to the marine life. Alot of marine life like corals or sponges will die or be harmed if air goes past them or gets trapped under them....

DrBDC do you mean the contents of my fuge or whats coming out of it? My return pump goes out of the fuge through the sterilizer into the tank, so I don't belive I'm sterilizings anything in the fuge...
