I got my live rock shipment yesterday. Last night when my moonlights turned on, we turned off the other lights in the room to check it out and I've got BRIGHT glowing orange clusters around my tank....

I turned a light on and it's a REALLY deep red (almost like cyano - but darker) mat algae or a sponge. I really hope it makes it through whatever cycle I end up with and spreads!

I just saw my rock in the dark with the moonlights for the first time. I'm glad this worked (somewhat) on camera. Check out the "glowing" sponge/algae/??? on this rock. It's on about 5 or 6 pieces....
