I have heard, people say 2 in 100 pair and as many as 1/2 will mix in pairs. some guy has a hybrid clown he bought, he posted pics on this forum. he probably knows more than i do.

It doesnt sound like he had a parasite, I had the same prob. with a new clown the next day i brought it back and got a new one( they ripped me off on the clown anyways, $30), but they didnt notice it...
