I had a seaclone a long time ago and i did that mod... Make sure you put the airstone on a hard plastic line that goes all the way down...

i have read the thread from beginning to end... Yes my fixture has 2 fans... but it also has 2 more halides then yours does.. Upgrading PC should only "help" but my pfo halides make my corals...
