good point. I just looked and yes. the crack appears to be about 3 or 4 inches below the current water level but it is still above the pump bulkheads so I can lower the water level to do the repair....

I'm in no way an expert but from the last 5 years I've kept a few of them with limited concern. Only issue I ever had was that my blenny thought a new cuc looked tasty and walla I had one less Cuc :)
