Hmmm... My system is low nutrient, I always register 0 for nitrates with a test kit (for what it's worth), but since starting GFO I've also had some persistent patches of Cyano. Perhaps iron somehow...

I'll see how it's labelled when it comes. I'm not sure, but I think "food grade" has to have a certificate of analysis. I didn't think to ask for aquarium grade- if it exists.

I would mix it 5 gal at a time, but transfer it to a 1 gal jug to hook up to your doser. A malfunction of you doser or timer could dump all 5 gals into your tank (been there)

As a stand alone magnesium supplement it is 7 1/4 to 3/4
