Anyone have any experience with the Giesemann "Coral" Bulbs? They are pricey, but their spectral plots look pretty interesting. . .

Not disagreeing there - it is a different acro. Has a different growth form and I don't think the colors are the same. The one I have is also a tabling acro.

Tagging along. I recently got a T3 to power my skimmer and it adds a ton of heat. I think the backpressure from the beckett injector makes things even worse.

On a positive note, it does work...

If I remember correctly, an Oceanic 58 has a 36" x 18" footprint. With electricity prices today, I'd try to get by with a single MH bulb. 250W would probably be plenty, but you could go for a 400...

I have no idea how to measure a clam, but the derasa is at least 12" long. Probably more like 14".
