Wrong. A lot of them say 100% silicone which looks fine, but if you read the info on the back, most include moldicides and antifungals. Not good!

GE Silicone I Window and Door is the only kind...

I've done lots of small things and used it within 5 minutes.. If you just did a LOT of plumbing, then I'd say wait atleast 2 hours just in case.
