If you really want a quiet setup in your bedroom, I would personally use a submersible pump as a return to your display. That way you would only need to drill one hole in your 20 for the overflow.

I run an 8 hour photoperiod on my oceanic 30. I have an A.Echinata, 2 millis(blue and green) and a pink birdsnest. I find that the birdsnest doesn't color up that well, the rest do.

I was going to upgrade to SLS Tek lights but i can't hang the lights at all because of live AC wires right above the tank in the ceiling.

All I can do is hope the new bulbs have better PAR....

Here're some pics of the tank. It's been running for 3 months now with the T5s. The T5s are from Finnex and are running on Jalli bulbs.

I'm still waiting for my replacement bulbs from reefgeek.
