Aside from another $10 peppermint lunch, he hasn't touched any other inverts. I love the fish. It's well worth the 2 shrimp it's taken out.

I think you'll be fine especially if you work them into the aquascape. I would just leave them stock. In my old tank, once it became covered in coralline, I didn't mind it at all.

When I add new sand, I rinse it off a few times to get the crud out. Then, while it's still wet, I get a glass or cup, fill it with the wet sand. Then, keeping it held right side up, I lower it below...
