cool, thanks. I have a 14 gallon bio cube so I'm thinking I should run an air pump design so that there is not a huge amount of water creating turblance in the refil chamber.

I usually do a 4 gallon water change every two weeks. I could check the params of my fresh saltwater. I guess thats a good idea. I never thought about that.

got ya. They are so amazing looking. I saw a large one, about 1 1/2 foot long in Iowa a while ago at aquatic environments and they had it in like a 80 gallon tank with some large coral beauties.

got ya. I'll order the calibration fluid tonight. I do not have a mag test kit, so I have no idea. Calcium is around 420 or so ppm.
