Do you think a search and rescue mission is worthwhile? If hes dead I would want to remove him, right? Or will the Crabs, Shrimp and snails make sure he dosen't rot away causing other problems?

The CPR's (see marinedepot) have a built in siphon nipple which is great .. until it builds up with salt residue and loses syphon...

Sure you can hit it with a pipe cleaner and not worry for 3...

Well I was having an Hair algae/Cyano problem .. so I put in a phosphate reactor, got an adequate cleaning crew and started feeding less .. those problems are now going away and the tank looks great....

I have a 72 gallon tank and a 20 gallon sump so its not really 40% -- but around there....

As I started to get my phosphate, silicate and nitrate in check .. they seemed to do worse .. while everything in my tank got better.
