Well I was having an Hair algae/Cyano problem .....
Well I was having an Hair algae/Cyano problem .. so I put in a phosphate reactor, got an adequate cleaning crew and started feeding less .. those problems are now going away and the tank looks great....

Thats what I usually do .. I make about 35 gallons of water and use most of it .. I thought that was normal?
I have a 72 gallon tank and a 20 gallon sump so its not really 40% -- but around there....

Interesting. Because thats kinda what happened to me ..
As I started to get my phosphate, silicate and nitrate in check .. they seemed to do worse .. while everything in my tank got better.
