Not change, empty. This is good, but I don't think the skimmer kept up with the bioload. A larger skimmer will work like that in the beginning and catch up with the load, which will produce less...

You would have to look and see what type of conversion needs to be done to use in the Magellan unit, but I'm sure it can be done by the looks of it so far.

Yes, that pipe doesn't have to be that tall. IMO, it really shouldn't be higher than the top of the riser tube in the skimmer.
