I have 70 gal that is 36 " long. For the weir, I would like to have about a 12" X 1 " inch area removed from the back wall. I have seen post where the top of back wall has been grinded down or cut....

my plan is to have one going at full siphon (tweaked down with a valve) and the other with a siphon break that will drain any remaining water. Redundancy makes me feel safe. i also plan to use one...

large vs small overflows

I plan on pumping about 350 gph. Would a 12 inch overflow with two, 1 1/2 inch bulkheads be more quiet than a 12 inch overflow with two, 1 inch bulkheads?

I plan on using a rotozip with diamond cutting wheel. Its like a big dremmel. I dont think i will have the patience to cut with a dremmel and may try to rush and crack it.
