I've seen a maxima grow under PC lighting, but the guy had his tank set up in front of a window, so his tank received a few hours of sunlight per day. EVERYTHING grew in that tank.

Find something like a piece of plexiglass or half...

Find something like a piece of plexiglass or half of a clam shell to place your new clam in. They attach to that and when it comes time to move it, it's a piece of cake.
