Your skimmer is 30" tall but how much head is there on those pumps? You'll have to forgive my ignorance concerning these pumps...I've never touched them so I don't know how they respond to head...

Definitely looks like one worth trying....I thing that round pins create less drag on the pump than this style so I believe the wattage will still be a little higher but If you can match stock...

One more thing...What material are you using here? Are you able to get Derlin? That seems to be the best material to use for this application. Heck, Bubble King even went to that from titanium....
