I also have that same problem, but I think the green sort of just spreads throughout the tank, and the protein skimmer is still running it throught the water system. But don't quote me on that

I have a wartskin angler and it has some abnormal white spots but it is not ik, it usually places its face against the glass not unlike a puffer does. I was thinking that it might be just it rubbing...
