I kept a Canthigaster solandri in my reef and really ejoyed this fish. When stressed or new to the tank they will likely nip fins of other fish, and although mine did this he otherwise was a model...

Don't worry...the standards to "apply" for the society aren't set too high. That being said I would study at least one Borneman, Sprung, and Michael text before applying...and be ready for the test....
