Just got my 250mh retro today from hellolights. I was wring it up and was connecting the power cord as per the diagram on the top of the ballast.
My question.
There is a green ground wire coming...

Like mudder mentioned plywood and glass would be better. It is quite easy and cheap to make a tank out of it. ONly one side needs to be glass, or part of a side depending on how large you make it.
