I have already drilled 6 x 3/8" holes in 1/2" thick plate steel with it at 620 rpm and it still works fine.

Patience, lubricant, and coolant...

Clear out a spot for your pump in your sump, run out the tubing to your skimmer ( Or hard pipe it if you want to get fancy) then run tubing...
