Just so you know though, a fish would have to be pretty weak to get stuck on a mj1200. He was probably sick, or suffering from a really bad after acclimation.

If your looking at a 75g, also look at 90g as well. They have the same footprint, and you should be able to get it for about the same price. Sounds like your off to a good start!

Yes, the nova extremes are a very inefficient light. The reason t5 is as powerful as it is, is due to the individual reflectors for each bulb. The nova doesnt have that feature. You might as well...
