The 55 gallon sump is going next to the tank...

The 55 gallon sump is going next to the tank probably to the left. This way I can get to it with ease for maintenance, etc. There will be a refugium section in the sump that will be fed by a teed off...

Cleaning Marco Rocks

Here is a picture of 50# of Marco Rocks in 10 gallons of vinegar and 10 gallons of water. I rinsed and scrubbed the rock before putting it in the tub. This is after about an hour.

Not a load bearing wall. Notice the steel beam and the steel pillar holding it up. The wall was just framed in.

Reminds me - better paint the steel beam because it may get a little humid right...

Got the stand done (more pictures)

Finished putting the stand together. Tomorrow will be putting the plywood on, putting the tank in to check for fit, and finishing the electrical. Painting the stand over the weekend and the trim goes...

Do CPR overflows have that bad a reputation? What is the problem with them? The design looks manageable although I'm not too sure about using a dosing pump to ensure the siphon keeps going.
