I agree. The reflector is going to play a vital role along with ballest and lamps. 30'' deep isn't that deep 250s will be fine.

Last berlin I dealt with, it ended up in the trash. Replaced with a PM 2 night and day difference. The ASM G3 isn't too bad, easy to use, seems like you're getting it for a good price too.

I am modding an ASM 4 that has the sedra 9000 b/c its performance was less than adequate. I wouldn't buy one again for a big tank. I'll be trying a DAS or a custom one from protein-skimmer.com soon...
