leather polyps turning white

My leather's polyps turned white the other day. It does not seem to be as healthy as it used to be. It is on the bottom of my 75 gallon, and I have four t5 ho bulbs on my tank. What's the deal?

That should be more than fine for simple stuff. I have a 75 gallon, and my mushrooms are actually growing under a single 32 watt normal output strip light that came with the tank.

Is this stuff okay to use for gluing baffles into a sump? It says its waterproof and is used for doors and windows.
