Ok, I was reading some threads on pavestone pulverized limestone...any of you guys know about this??? do any of the HD's or Lowes around here carry it or is this an east coast thing???

Ok, I finally called ALI, he will sell me the same sand and match the price as petsmart...you guys where right!!! thanks a lot...no more waiting 2 more weeks for petsmart to get their act together..

Ok, so I did the math...Ali's sand is about $1.50 a pound and petsmart is about $0.65 a pound..I think Im going to stick with petsmart for now since they deliver for free right now when you order...

Most closed loop systems run on Darts or other sequence pumps. I ran a CL on my 400 gallon for a while but got rid of it...now I have a bunch of nasty holes in my tank.

OK, I got the Iwasaki's in and have just turned them on. I got them from www.coralreefecosystems.com..it was the cheapest price I can find on these bulbs..all I can say is that I love these...

Thanks I appreciate it. Im not sure I want the deep sand bed...Im actually considering just using aragalive fiji sand and maybe an inch or two of it. Im just really tired of seeing all the fine sand...

I added the salt to the water....thats the way I always do it and have not had the water be cloudy for this long..maybe just for an hour or two but thats it..

Let me know how that works out for you. I was considering the ACJR or AC3 but Im not quite sure yet. I hear that those units are a bit trick to set up if you don't have a PhD in computer science. :D
