i dont know i was told by a guy with a 300g mixed reef that he had for years to use red sea max and thats what ive been using since but everybody has there preferences

hmm i had a hermit crab die when i first started my tank and didnt remove it and the other beasts inside my tank ate it within 24 hours so i cant tell if it woulda crashed .

i was told 6500k is good for chaeto and you can get 2- 26w compact florescents 6500k bulbs for like $7 works great for me

dont go with a tall tank i beleive for most type of fish the footprint of the tank is more important plus tall tanks are hard to clean and long tanks look better i bought a 65g tall tank and i regret...
