I have been using Black Magic Carbon for a few years and have been rinsing it. When I do this it seems like most of the carbon runs off.

My skimmer pump is in the water return section...

My skimmer pump is in the water return section and then it drains into the fuge section. If I pump from there and return in to the return pump area the skimmer will miss that water.

I bought my tank at ocean Enviorments, Good store. They actually have probably the only H&S A-150 for sale right now in the country. They just got a good shipment of fish in.I was there yesterday.
