Yes, I do have overkill on equipment. I had a bigger tank going before I moved, so I just used the equipment I already had to setup the tank.

The TEK lights come with individual reflectors.

I have agree with Azruel on the different colors...

I have agree with Azruel on the different colors of blue some are light, dark, and multi color. I've also found T5 actinic's really bring out the colors of ric's and give them a more full look.

I agree just cut it... The fishing line just prolonging the process. Use a sharp razor and make a clean cut and you shouldn't have to worry about recovery.
