Ok ok jees I'll soak it in vinegar. =) Lil bit for the skimmer an a lil bit for my french fries. Vinegar is good stuff. So 2 parts water to one part vinegar is what the tech support guy suggested....

Yes the tank is still running great. The external overflow is doing it's job. With a 55g I would put the overflow on the left or right side. Not the back.
